Snow in Vegas & Arizona? Bye Bye 2014 ... Hello 2015 Let's Take Another Trip Around the Sun..

That's Arizona not North Carolina or Virginia.

In Raleigh this morning we had Jack Frost come visit.
It's about as close to snow as we are getting this holiday season.

But in Vegas.............snow is in the forecast and there 's lots of fuss about snow flurries...

Seriously???? Hmnnnn.
Imagine today when people start taking selfies in Vegas of snow...
...what happened in Vegas will NOT stay in Vegas...

It's snowing in the deep SW ... in fact right now it's the ONLY place it's snowing...

Maybe a few flakes elsewhere in predictable Great Lake areas but seriously Vegas & Arizona?

Why you ask?

Some sort of vague El Nino like set up (still being analyzed) bringing snow to those who rarely see it. And, most people in the parts of the country that suffered the most last year are jumping for joy to be rid of it. Won't last long... so if you live in the NE...get out there FAST because winter being gone is an illusion. Sometimes it's nice to live in denial, but if you go outside without a coat you may be out there when the front comes through and you'll be wishing you were living in reality!

This past Saturday Night I was in Time Square with my daughter, after a trip back to Rockefeller Center to look at the holiday decorations. Had Chinese food at Eden Wok... oh it was so good. Chinese Beef with Baby Corn and okay chocolate chip cookies with a Dr. Pepper.

New York is so much fun this time of year. My kids treated me to a birthday trip to NYC where I went to a wedding in Boro Park, an engagement party in Coney Island, a party in Williamsburg and I spent the Sabbath in Crown Heights in 770 and a trip out to the Ohel. Luckily the train ride back on the Carolinian gave me a chance to relax............

My daughter and I spent... a long time in Sephora in Times Square... playing with make up and listening to great music. Going for the glamour look .... no filter but funky make up mirror lighting...

Wishing you all lots of love and great weather pics... (all the stores are open in Times Square ALL night ... smiling)

And.... now I am back in Raleigh back at work writing for the blog... and an article I need to get out for someone. Watching the weather and back at the old literary grindstone.

Time to turn your back on 2014...

And, say hello to the new year!

Wishing y'all a wonderful new 2015 where you always get the weather you wish for...

Sweet Tropical Dreams...

Ps... keep watching the winter weather...
