I like Drudge's Hurricane Fetish and choice of music

So...........to each his own. Found this while trying to find the lyrics to Windmills of My Mind to send to my brother Jay but... this popped up. I tried to send a message but there was no message, no contact...and I'm in too good of a mood today to try and figure out how to respond or dance to someone else's music especially since they don't like Windmills of Your Mind (heresy)so...

my response is this...there are not enough versions of Windmills of Your Mind out there and if you never saw a cake that was melting in the rain... well you'd never understand.

Who knew Drudge and I have the same fetishes... and well I am a Miami girl.. our football team is named HURRICANES (duh) and well...if you ever went through a big blow like we did growing up and watched the palm trees fall down like the walls of jericho or a cake that someone left out in the rain... you'd understand

until the next hurricane or the next big Shake, Rattle and Roll... (i lived in LA too) ill listen to the Windmills of My Mind, Your Mind.. Drudge's Mind .. it is the most beautifully written song in the world.. and I have a few versions that a good friend Steven sent me and hope he sends me a few more.

to each his own...
thanks for making me laugh, great name.. should see what else it spells out lol

"To: pantseatflyer
It's almost as his fetish for sappy 70's music. How many different cover versions of "Windmills of Your Mind" and "MacArthur Park" can he find? A couple of weeks ago on his radio show he told about how he could sit and listen to music by the cheesy 70's band "Bread" for hours."

(SHUT UP JAY)

great song... any version
Windmills of Your Mind
Round
Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning
On an ever-spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that’s turning
Running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of it’s face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of it’s own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half-forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of it’s face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Keys that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle in your head
Why did summer go so quickly?
Was it something that you said?
Lovers walk along a shore
And leave their footprints in the sand
Is the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand?
Pictures hanging in a hallway
And the fragment of a song
Half-remembered names and faces
But to whom do they belong?
When you knew that it was over
You were suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the colour of her hair

Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning
On an ever-spinning reel
As the images unwind
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

ps..........you know what Ed said about my mind... well wasn't about a wheel but was perfect tho ...Richard used to say he loved to watch the wheels turning in my mind.

love Bobbi
pss.. did i post enough for you Jay?
